just testin out other stuff in max...like tryin to work on nebs...Made a different atmosphere for the planets this time and tried agian with the texture idea(on the planet and moon)
So hope ya'll likes!
Oh...by the way...I decided to switch this over to sci fi from scraps cuz I wanted to get more of an idea from some peopple on how they like this? so be nice...LOL

I like it, however it doesn't totally look realistic. First, the light and shadow mixture on the orbs is different. Are there two sources? Or is the "Atmosphere diffusing the light" ? Another thing, the atmosphere seems to be very thin due to the clarity of the surface; however, the brightness of the outer part suggests it is thicker, by the way it deflects the light. See how they contest each other?
Third, it's difficult to discern that it's a space scene at first. There are no stars shining through the clouds, or stars in the dark area on the right. Starlight is powerful and can squirrel through just about anything. Just a suggestion.
Like I said, a nice piece, it just needs some work.
