Anubis is a deity of Egyptian cults and religions. And is greatly known.

but in the concept here. he is a simple(heh) character out of a story I've been writing for quite sometime(sorry I wont go into detail on the who, what, where, when, and why? except that he's actually another species that came to earth long ago and just happen to start the cults. another words, think along the line of Stargate universe kinda. but of course much more original and been in the proccess of bein made longer than stargate universe has been around)

This started as a simple sketch I did, when I was bored one time during a normal sleepless night. Just hanging next to my pc, listening to music and just had an idea to mess with some paper. and this was born: Anubis lineart

and so I decided last night I would CG as I uploded that image(thank god for my digital cam' since my poor scanner is now fried)

This a style that I have never done before. the image has no line art to see whatsoever. the drawing was made very faded and paint over. the concept of painting is in the style of concept art(used for creating such things for game, tv, movies, models, cars, jets, etc.)
This was just my first try and Im insanly happy about it. I think I will never do the other style agian(so no more line art in the image) unless of course its withen a universe that has to have line art. lol
